<------this is the view from the living room window

just watch this video!
However, it was definitely TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. upon, reviewing the damage from the quake and my roomates experiencing a strong aftershock. the decision had been made for us to relocate. Seeing as the apartment was on the 13th floor, the aftershocks send the building swaying like a pendulum and plaster to crumble. Though the building was approved by an engineer that people could safely habitat the structure..the parents of my roommates where not convinced :( see for yourself...
the first picture is of the floor below us, the second is with my roommate Juan and if you look closely you can see the apolestry of someone sofa chair peaking through the wall and the bottom photo is of our hallway leading to the kitchen. so truth be told...there was some "cosmetic" damage. and turns out...
we were the only apartment still renting. Haha that is our light on the 13th floor!
So in the middle of the night we moved our things to another location...not near the water, in a hill, with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. Pictures of the new place are posted on facebook!!!
